Firstly, let’s start by introducing ourselves.
We are Love Moore, a group of three ladies who have lovingly put together a charity fundraising collective based in Luton, Bedfordshire. Our aim is to collaborate music, art & community, whilst donating money to various charities. Using local venues we have been able to help support charities such as Stepping Stones, Centre Point & Noah’s Enterprise with their causes. Not only have we focused on charity work and bringing Live Music to Luton, but we have also experimented with mental health workshops and exhibitions of LIVE Performance Art.
We thrive by making connections with the many talented and hardworking Luton based collectives/brands to create a creative community.
Our latest event was a jam packed all dayer! We started off at The Castle, Luton where we had an acoustic performance from Leon Bratt, peaceful yet sensual voice stroked our ears for a short while until we were ready for a spoken word performance from Nate Boston. Poetry inspired by his family heritage filled the hearts of us all. In between all the excitement we had a bake sale with beautiful homemade cake made by a true friend of ours, healing sessions with another lovely friend of ours, a t-shirt designing workshop and a clothes sale. Each item had been lovingly donated to us by so many of our friends.
The second part to our event was held at Edge, Luton. This event was sold out before the doors were even open to the public! We had three amazing acts The Wholls, The Scruff and the absolute dream boat that is, Tom Grennan. We managed to raise with the help of so many generous and caring people, just over £730 for Centre Point UK.
We have already started working on our next fundraiser which will take place at Edge, Luton on 27th October 2018, yes that’s right, we are having a grimey Halloween Ball! So keep your eyes peeled because its going to be super fun and all to help raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer.
