‘Circuits’ is the sound of a band in control of its own destiny. They’ve hit the slipstream, leaving their contemporaries behind. A steady pair of hands at the wheel, all that is now required. They’ve a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark out and they’re wearing sunglasses. You’ll need your own eye protection from these musical laser beams.
With the indie-pop, Foals / Two Door Cinema Club mine seemingly over plundered, Sarpa Salpa have amazingly struck gold. The reason is simple. They have what the others have not. Soul.
